GENERAL INFO:

  • The Salty Savage is a 280CX Edgewater, 28ft dual console offering the best of both worlds “fishing from the front and back of the boat along with comfort and protection from the elements.”
  • This boat is fast and gives you more time fishing and less time traveling.
  • The boat has the latest fishing gear, electronics, and safety equipment (Epirb, Type 1 life jackets, survival suits and life raft).
  • It can take you up to 30 miles from the coast in search for trophy Bluefin Tuna and other deep sea species, or you can stay closer to shore and focus on Striped Bass, Pollock, Halibut, Black Seabass, and others. You can also go after a variety of Sharks, including Blue, Mako, and Porbeagle.
  • Fishing License, Bait and Fuel are provided in the Charter Price there is no Surcharge!

OFFSHORE CHARTERS:

For offshore trips, we will travel 10-40 miles off the coast. You can fish for blue fin tuna, ground fish (haddock, cod & pollock) and even sharks. 

INSHORE CHARTERS:
Coastal fishing trips can go around the sea coast or Isle of Shoals. You can fish for stripe bass, mackerel, pollock, etc. 

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
Fishing gear is provided on the charter. You are more than welcome to being your own gear but have a variety high end rods and reels. 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
The boat provides bottles of water. There is a microwave, small fridge as well as coolers for food and drinks.

 

Food – Packed conveniently in plastic containers or plastic zip lock bags. 

  • Breakfast – Frozen egg sandwiches/burritos are a great option.
  • Lunch – Sandwiches, Fried Chicken…simple and easy to eat

 

Alcohol – Light consumption of beer and wine is allowed. No glass bottles. No hard liquor or drugs.

 

Clothing – Appropriate clothing for the time of year. It’s colder offshore than on land. Sun shirt and Rain jacket are a good choice  (A sweatshirt and pants are recommended to bring on all trips)

 

Footwear – Crocs, Rubber Rain Boots/Sneakers are best (No work boots allowed because of marking heel)

 

Sun Protection – Hat, Sunglasses, and Sunblock (Non-Spray)
